You have already made your campaign and the launch should take place at midnight. You can, of course, activate your campaign manually, but would you want to log in to your Sleeknote account at around midnight to do so? Yeah… I don’t think so.
You can skip all the manual work by scheduling your campaigns. So no waking up in the middle of the night!
Our editor gives you different possibilities for the scheduling of your campaigns. In this article, we will have a closer look at how they work.
Activating your campaign schedule is the last step in the settings part of our editor. Before you save your campaign, click on schedule activation, which is marked with a blue font.
First, you should choose which time zone you want your campaign to be available in.
By clicking on “add schedule” you will be given two options to choose from.
A fixed schedule is very straight forward. It allows you to choose the starting date and the finishing date of your campaign.
You can also further choose the specific time when the campaign should be published and unpublished. If you are yet unaware of when you want your campaign to stop being visible, simply uncheck the set end date field. By this, the campaign will be visible until manually disabled.
But what if you want to have your campaign visible only on certain days or at certain times? No problem!
The repeating scheduling gives you more detailed possibilities to set. Let’s imagine that you are running a Christmas campaign and you only want it to be active on the weekends the month before the holidays.
You can choose the specific days, which in this case would be Saturdays and Sundays plus the time the campaign should appear. And you are good to go! To select multiple weekdays, simply hold the shift key.
The recurring schedule also gives you the opportunity to set the start and end date. Which in the case of targeting leads for a month before the holidays would be relevant to choose.
There is one important thing to mention here. If you want to run your campaign starting on Saturday at 8:00 AM and finishing on Sunday at 8:00 PM, you need to set the specific time for each of the days. So your finished planning should look like the following. Saturday from 8:00 AM until midnight and Sunday from midnight until 8:00 PM. If you set your schedule from just 8 to 8 it will start and finish at those times and you will lose the conversions after and before 8.
Let’s briefly summarize the scheduling again. There are two options on how you can schedule your campaigns.
The fixed schedule gives you the options to choose the starting and finishing date for your campaigns repeating schedule gives you the possibilities to be more precise and set your scheduling on a more detailed level.
