We all know that feeling…
You have too much to do, and too few hours to do it.
And as for balance?
The truth is, while it’s not always possible to tick everything off your to-do list, there is a way to automate some of it…
…and there’s no better way than using Zapier.
With more than 750 apps to integrate with such as MailChimp, WordPress, Slack, Clearbit, Aweber and Trello, Zapier allows you to connect your favorite apps and create awesome automated workflows known as Zaps.
And although it can’t do your work for you (I know, wouldn’t that be nice?), it can save you a ton of time so you can get back to doing what you do best—running and growing your business.
Why am I telling you all this?
You guessed right—we just integrated with Zapier!
This means it just got a whole lot easier for you to get all your data on your SleekBoxes to the right apps (if you’re not using one of the other systems that we’re integrated with directly).
Previously, you had to spend time setting up a custom integration with the system you’re using. Now you can just integrate with Zapier and send your data to different apps at once.
In this post, you’ll learn how to set up a Zapier integration with your SleekBoxes so you can make your apps work together (such as when you acquire a new lead).
Then, I’ll show you two simple Zaps you can use to free up time so you can focus on your most important tasks and obligations.
How to set up a SleekBox + Zapier integration
We’re not yet part of Zapier’s app explore, but don’t worry—we will be.
However, we don’t want you to miss out on any benefits this integration can give you, so I’m going to explain how to integrate a SleekBox with Zapier.
The good news is that it’s not hard at all, you just need to follow these few simple steps:
1. Get a webhook URL
To get a webhook URL, go to Zapier’s site and click “Make a Zap!”:
Then, search for “Webhooks by Zapier” and choose “Catch Hook” in the search results:
Click “Save + continue” and then “Continue”:
You’ll then see a page that gives you a custom Webhook URL. Click “Copy to clipboard”:
2. Set up integration and send test Zap
Now you need to set up the integration and send a test Zap to see if everything is working properly.
To do that, go to the “Settings” page of the SleekBox you want to integrate with Zapier and click “Setup integration”:
You’re then sent to the page where you need to choose between the different systems we’re integrated with. Choose Zapier:
Paste the Webhook URL that you just copied from Zapier where it says “Enter webhook URL” and click “Continue to mapping”:
Next, you need to map the fields of your SleekBox to Zapier which is done by entering the value you want each input field from your SleekBox to have.
For example, if you have an input field in your SleekBox called “Type your name”, you’ll probably want this to have the value “Name” in Zapier:
When you’re done with this, it’s time to send a test Zap which is done by clicking “Send test zap!” in the bottom of the page (remember to click “Save integration” after you’ve sent the test Zap):
3. Choose actions you want your SleekBox to trigger
Lastly, choose the action you want your SleekBox to trigger.
Go back to the Zapier site and let them know that you tested the webhook by pressing “OK, I did this”:
After a few seconds, you should see this screen:
Click “Continue” and you should see this page:
You’re now ready to select any action you want your SleekBox to trigger.
Looking to save time? Create these two Zaps
Now we’ve covered how to integrate Zapier, let’s look at two Zaps you can integrate with Sleeknote.
1. Get notified in Slack about new signups
Wouldn’t it be nice to get notified in Slack every time you got a new signup?
Oh wait—you can.
Here’s the recipe:
2. Need more information on a new signup? Use Clearbit
This Zap is useful if you want to enrich your data on your lead before you add it to your email system.
It would look like this when you create it:

With Zapier’s wealth of integrations and the possibility of making customized Zaps, it’s really only your imagination that sets the limits for what you can do with Zapier.
I hope this post has excited you and fired you up to create your first SleekBox and Zapier integration.
