Campaign Monitor mainly uses Sleeknote to get people to sign up for their newsletter. At the moment they have 2 types of SleekBoxes active.
The first one is a SleekBox asking their visitors to subscribe to their newsletters. They have decided only to show this SleekBox on their “guides” page with the include/exclude feature that makes them able to choose what pages the SleekBox will be visible on.
When you click on one of the guides, a SleekBox shows up after 15 seconds. They use social proof in the SleekBox as they say “Join over 20,000 other marketers who get actionable tips on improving their email marketing delivered to their inbox”.
The other type of SleekBox they use at the moment is a SleekBox offering an email marketing course. They use this SleekBox on their blog. What they’ve done here, is that they describe what you’ll get when you sign up for their newsletter, which is highly effective to show visitors what they’ll get once they sign up.
