See how to boost sales with countdown timers. Create urgency, drive faster decisions, and turn more visitors into customers.
Hi. I’m Sofie. And in this video, I’ll show you how to boost sales with countdown timers. So the issue is that when your visitors see an offer, many of them hesitate. They think that they will just decide later on, but oftentimes, later means never, and you end up not getting the sale. And that’s where countdown timers come in. You can show the exact amount of time your visitors have to claim the offer both with days, hours, minutes, and even seconds. It works especially good for flash sales, seasonal campaigns, you launching a new collection, or just in general time limited discounts or offers. And it’s super easy to set up. If we go to the builder and click the countdown element, you can choose your time zone. You can choose the language. You can choose the end time, and you can also choose what what should happen once the countdown reach zero. Should it disable the campaign, or should it show a specific message? When you’re near the deadline, it makes sense to show the seconds as well. If there’s a long time to claim the offer, you might wanna exclude seconds at the beginning at least just by disabling this one. And as always, you can customize the design, the font, the colors, everything to match your brand. So if you’re not using countdown timers yet, you should definitely start adding urgency and reduce the hesitation your visitors have.
A countdown timer shows how much time is left to claim an offer. It can display days, hours, minutes, and optional seconds, creating urgency and making the deadline clear.
Many visitors hesitate and plan to decide later, which often means never. A visible deadline reduces hesitation, prompts faster decisions, and lifts sales. Timers work especially well for flash sales, seasonal campaigns, new collection launches, and any time-limited offer.
