Learn how to reopen popups with a teaser. This video shows how teasers give visitors a second chance to engage and help you boost conversions.
Hi. I’m Sofie. And in this video, I wanna show you how to let your visitors reopen your popups by using a teaser. So pop ups are a powerful way of engaging and communicating with your visitors, but there’s one thing that can be really, really frustrating as a visitor. And that is when you see a popup, you’re not ready to convert yet, so you close it, and it just disappears forever. Instead, with the teaser, I can close the popup, and I am still able to reopen and reengage and, most importantly, convert. So this is a better experience for your visitors, but it’s also really powerful for you as a marketeer because it affects your numbers and your results. Earlier this year, we compared popups with a teaser to pop ups without a teaser, and the difference is quite significant. Popups with a teaser converts sixty five percent better than pop ups without a teaser. So let me just show you how easy it is to enable teasers with Sleeknote. This is the builder. We have the form. We have the success step, and we have the teaser. Right now, we’re seeing the teaser on desktop. We definitely, of course, have it on mobile as well. You can choose to disable the teaser, but you can also choose to show the teaser after the form and not before. That means that your visitors will see the form. They can close it, and then the teaser will appear. If you don’t enable this one, they will be able to trigger the pop up themself simply by clicking the teaser. So this might not be your design or your colors. What you can do is click it, click the teaser, change the background color to match your website, to match your brand. The same with the font and the text, you can customize everything. So, yeah, if you’re not using teasers today, this is definitely your sign to do because it’s a better customer experience, but it’s also giving you better results.
A teaser is a small, unobtrusive element that stays visible after a visitor closes a popup. When clicked, it reopens the popup so the visitor can engage when they’re ready.
In Sleeknote tests, campaigns with a teaser converted 65% better than campaigns without one. Teasers give visitors control and give you a second chance at conversion—a win-win.

Hi, I’m Sofie. In this video, I’ll show you how to let visitors reopen your popups using a teaser. Popups are great for engagement, but there’s a common frustration: you see a popup, you’re not ready yet, you close it—and it’s gone.
With a teaser, closing the popup doesn’t end the experience. Visitors can bring it back at any time, re-engage, and convert when they’re ready. That’s better for them and better for your results.
We compared popups with a teaser to popups without one. The difference was significant: popups with a teaser converted 65% better.
In the Sleeknote builder, you’ll see three parts to every campaign: the form, the success step, and the teaser. You can enable the teaser on desktop and mobile. You can also choose to show the teaser after the form is shown—so visitors first see the form, and if they close it, the teaser appears. If you don’t enable that option, visitors can still trigger the popup by clicking the teaser.
You can customize the teaser to fit your brand—background color, fonts, and text. If you’re not using teasers yet, now is the time. They improve customer experience and deliver better results.
