How to implement it

1. Load the Template

Click the scratch field, then choose Edit options on the right side of the screen.

Here you’ll add your rewards: set the chance of winning, upload the reward image, and write a headline, description and reward code for each one.

2. Customize the Scratch Layer

Still in Edit options, scroll down to the Scratch layer. Choose a background color or upload an image.

3. Design the Reward Layer

Scroll further to find the Reward layer. Pick a layout, choose the background colors for each reward field, and add an image for “no reward.”

4. Preview Each Reward

To see your reward images, hide the scratch layer (bottom left corner), then click on the reward you want to view.

5. Add a Custom Cursor

If you want a fun touch, scroll down in the settings and upload your own cursor image.

You can use your logo, a coin or anything else that fits your brand and campaign.

6. Edit the Success Step Text

Click on the Success step and select the text element.

Click Merge tag and choose from Scratch to Win tags. This text will update automatically based on the reward the visitor uncovers.

7. Set UTM Targeting

To only show this campaign to visitors from your email campaigns, go to Display settings, then Targeting options.

Scroll down to UTM campaign, select “Show” and add the relevant UTM parameters.

8. Connect to Your Email Tool

In the Integration step, map the field called Scratcher: Reward code to the corresponding field in your email platform.

That way, you’ll be able to send the reward code as well.

9. Activate or Schedule Your Campaign

Once everything’s ready, activate your campaign right away or schedule it to go live when the timing’s right.
